Medicine That Heals the Soul
Explore the transformative power of medicine intertwined with the Gospel, offering more than just physical relief.
The Gospel’s Healing Touch
In the summer of 2025, we received a phone call from one of the leaders. He told us that in their home church there is a young girl — K. (name hidden) — suffering from multiple sclerosis (MS). But with economic challenges, her family could neither afford, nor buy the medicine she needed. What was available was cheaper, but it had little impact on her condition.
It kept her going, but only barely. Over time she lost bladder control and suffered other serious complications. Eventually, she was hospitalized.
The medicine she needs costs around $350 monthly. Through gifts from ministry donors, we were able to purchase several packages for her. She felt relief almost immediately — and then a chain of events unfolded that no one could have planned.
After seeing God’s provision, her sister — not a believer — said, “Your God is real,” and chose to follow Him. Their aunt, a longtime believer who had grown distant from her church, also returned to serving. She shared that God was restoring her prophetic gift as an answer to prayer.
For the girl and her family, it was a clear sign that God hears their prayers. And as the story spread, the entire home church was strengthened and encouraged.
This kind of medical ministry is close to what Jesus did on Earth. He comforted those in pain. He restored dignity to those who had lost their sense of value because of sickness. He healed, and He helped. As we pray and partner with the Holy Spirit in healing, we also see that God’s testimonies and miracles often come through the love believers show one another.
K. still needs this treatment every month. We are asking you to partner with us on this journey. If you are able, consider giving so we can continue to provide her $550 monthly medicine and safely get it to her.
