Integrating Faith, Work, and Community Impact

For many Persian believers, following Jesus is not only a spiritual decision — it affects every area of life. Faith shapes how people work, relate to others, serve their communities, and steward what God has entrusted to them. At Cross to Persia Ministries, Business as Mission (BAM) is one of the ways we help believers live out the Gospel holistically, bringing Kingdom values into daily life and creating sustainable platforms for discipleship.

Why Business as Mission?

In restricted and high-pressure environments, traditional ministry structures are often limited or unsafe. Yet business, work, and community engagement remain powerful and natural spaces for building relationships and sharing faith.

BAM allows believers to serve their communities with excellence, dignity, and integrity while demonstrating the love of Christ through action.

Sustainable work also addresses real needs. Many Persecuted Persian believers and ministry families face economic hardship, limited job opportunities, and social marginalization. BAM initiatives help provide stability, restore dignity, and reduce dependency — enabling believers to support their families while remaining active in ministry.

Our BAM Approach

Cross to Persia Ministries supports small-scale, sustainable projects that align with biblical values and community needs. These may include agriculture, food production, craftsmanship, services, or other locally appropriate initiatives. Our role is not to operate businesses ourselves, but to equip, train, and support leaders who are called to integrate faith and work in their context.

BAM support includes:

  • Practical training and mentoring
  • Seed funding, tools, or equipment provided as ministry grants
  • Ongoing discipleship and spiritual formation
  • Accountability through trusted local partners and pastors
  • Guidance in stewardship, ethics, and community service

These projects are designed to serve people, not profit. Any income generated remains within the local context to strengthen discipleship, support local churches, care for communities, and encourage multiplication.

Disciple-Making Through Daily Life

BAM is not about using business merely to fund ministry — it is about using everyday work as ministry. Business relationships create natural opportunities for discipleship, hospitality, prayer, and Gospel conversations. Through honesty, generosity, and compassion, believers model Christ’s character in practical ways.

As leaders grow in maturity, many choose to voluntarily reinvest blessings they receive — helping other believers start similar projects, supporting house churches, or serving those in need.

This culture of stewardship reflects the Kingdom principle of multiplying what God has entrusted to His people.

Serving Communities, Building Hope

BAM projects contribute to community well-being by providing goods, services, and employment where needs are real. Whether through food security, skills training, or ethical business practices, these initiatives demonstrate the Gospel in action and help rebuild trust and hope.

Looking Ahead

We believe God is preparing the Persian Church for greater openness and opportunity in the future. By investing in sustainable, faith-driven initiatives today, we help lay foundations for a Church that is resilient, self-supporting, and deeply rooted in its communities.

At Cross to Persia Ministries, Business as Mission is more than an activity — it is a way of living out the Gospel faithfully, every day.
