Empowering Persecuted Persian Believers for Lasting Impact
Raising Faithful Disciple-Makers for the Persian Church
God is raising a new generation of believers who long to follow Jesus faithfully and serve His Kingdom with courage, wisdom, and integrity. Yet many of these believers face deep challenges — persecution, isolation, lack of access to sound biblical teaching, and limited opportunities for leadership development.
At Cross to Persia Ministries, we believe that equipping leaders is essential for the long-term health and multiplication of the Persian-speaking Churche.
Why Equipping Leaders Matters
What is the Church? It’s the people united by faith in Christ. But believers come from very different backgrounds and experiences — factors that can strengthen a church or hinder its health. Although the Persian church is among the fastest-growing in the world, that growth isn’t always even or sustainable. Past religious baggage, plus inconsistent discipleship and limited resources, creates serious challenges for church leaders. This isn’t so much their fault as it is a training gap — one that needs a practical solution.
Jesus’ model was never just about gathering crowds; it was about investing deeply in faithful men and women who would multiply His mission (Matthew 28:19–20; 2 Timothy 2:2). That same principle guides our approach today.
Our Approach to Leadership Development
Cross to Persia Ministries provides holistic discipleship and leadership training designed specifically for Persian believers and leaders. Our programs integrate biblical teaching, spiritual formation, practical ministry skills, and real-life application. We equip leaders not only to teach but to live out the Gospel in every area of life — family, work, community, and ministry.
Training takes place through:
- Online and in-person discipleship courses
- Mentoring relationships and small learning communities
- Leadership workshops and contextual theology training
- Creative and media training for Gospel communication
- Holistic Disciple-Making (HDM) and Business as Mission (BAM) integration
Our goal is not to create dependency, but to raise leaders who are spiritually mature, resilient, and capable of discipling others in their own cultural context.
Multiplying Disciple-Makers
The church grows when believers long to see their neighbors saved — and are equipped to share their faith with love and purpose.
When leaders are trained, they can shepherd house churches, mentor younger believers, plant new fellowships, and model a Kingdom-centered life. Through BAM (Business As Mission) and HDM (Holistic Disciple-Making) initiatives, leaders learn to integrate faith and work — using everyday relationships and sustainable livelihoods as platforms for discipleship and gospel witness.
As leaders grow, they become catalysts for transformation in their communities — bringing hope, biblical values, and practical care to families, neighborhoods, and workplaces.
Standing with Leaders Under Pressure
Many Persian leaders serve under significant risk. Cross to Persia Ministries walks alongside them with prayer, encouragement, secure communication, and practical support. We partner with trusted local pastors and ministries to ensure accountability, safety, and long-term fruitfulness.
Our Vision Going Forward
We envision a strong, indigenous Persian Church led by faithful, well-equipped leaders who disciple others, multiply communities of faith, and serve their nation with wisdom and love — trusting God through whatever challenges and changes the future brings.
By equipping leaders today, we invest in generations of disciple-makers tomorrow.
And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” (2 Timothy 2:2)
At Cross to Persia Ministries, equipping leaders is not just a program — it is our calling.
